Hong Kong-based mobile device manufacturer Zuri has revealed that it has partnered with Despec in order to roll-out its latest devices in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The company revealed that the four devices to be rolled out include the Zuri C41, C46, C52 and S56.
Vikash Shah, CEO at Zuri, stated: “East Africa represents a significant growth opportunity for Zuri, with demand for smartphones increasing across the region. We are confident that Despec will enable us to build strong routes-to-market across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Zuri is fully committed to building its brand presence in East Africa and DESPEC is the perfect partner to help us achieve this.”
When looking closer at the specs of each device we found that the 4.0-inch Zuri C41 smartphone features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, which is assisted by 512 MB RAM, and is available in white or black. The 4.5-inch C46 is similar in specs and features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, 512 MB RAM, and an 8 MP camera.
The C52 is a 5.0-inch device that features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and an 8 MP Camera. The last device to be brought into East Africa is the Zuri S56. The 5.5-inch S56 features a 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor, 1 GB RAM, dual-SIM capabilities, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
