Prima Interactive has revealed that it has been appointed as the value added distributor for Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (Take-Two) in South Africa.
According to the company, the deal will be effective from 1 May 2016 and will see Prima Interactive become the sole distributor of Take- Two’s well known, thrilling franchises such as Grand Theft Auto, Mafia, WWE, BioShock and Civilization amongst many others. Battleborn will be the first new release title to be distributed on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Commenting on the distributorship deal with Take-Two, Ian Hepplewhite, the CEO at Prima Interactive, stated that: “We are really excited to be working with Take-Two. They make great games, which we look forward to marketing in South Africa. With Take-Two’s extensive repertoire of first class games added to the mix, Prima Interactive will boast one of the best interactive games offerings in South Africa.”
