South Africa: Twitter reacts to Vodacom outage

Vodacom subscribers in Gauteng have reported problems on the network, via social media platform Twitter, on 27 June 2016 saying that they have been unable to access data services as well as had difficulty making voice calls.

According to the service had gone down at 12:58 PM SAST. According to the service, 42% of Vodacom users have had no internet connectivity, while 38% faced issues making and receiving calls… while 19% of Vodacom users faced total blackout of services.

Vodacom’s support team on Twitter has been responding to the mobile giant’s customers; however, no official statement has been revealed by Vodacom on what has caused the outage.
