Video Interview: Hlula Msimang discusses how JHB is evolving as a smart city

Hlula Msimang, Head of Safety and Security for the City of Johannesburg headlined the latest ICT Business Breakfast – which was held on 02 December, 2015.

Before his appointment as Head of Safety and Security for the City of Johannesburg, Msimang took over as Police Chief in Ekurhuleni from Robert McBride. Before that he was positioned as the Police Chief for the city of Tshwane.

At the ICT Business Breakfast, Msimang covered the topic of “Leveraging Technology for Public Safety.”

The breakfast, which was organised by IT News Africa and sponsored by Infinova, was held at the the DaVinci Hotel, located in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The breakfast covered the theme: “Innovative Security Solutions for Safe & Secure Cities: Technology’s role in creating safe and secure cities.”
