According to EMC Southern Africa, in appointing Jonas Bogoshi as its Country Manager, EMC Southern Africa has gained a visionary leader of people who has the tenacity to deliver superb results and who has built his career on stalwart principles, earning respect throughout the industry.
While his 22 years’ experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry have given Bogoshi a deep understanding of this market sector, he is first and foremost a leader of people.

Bogoshi joins EMC from T-Systems International where, as Vice President Sales, he created a new go-to-market strategy that successfully transformed T-Systems to provide cloud-based services.
His exemplary career track record also includes five years as CEO of Gijima, during which time Bogoshi dramatically enhanced shareholder value by driving above-industry growth and vastly improving profitability.
Throughout his exceptional career, Bogoshi has concentrated on building a vast network of strategic professional relationships across the country. He has held executive roles in both private and public sector organisations, and his leadership experience spans South African enterprises as well as multinational companies.
This experience encompasses a service provider, a customer in the ICT industry, a local and multinational systems integrator, and a hardware product Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
In addition, Bogoshi excels at inspiring teams to surpass expectations. His achievements as part of a team include a major restructuring of an established multinational subsidiary, driving outstanding growth of a new multinational in South Africa, and executing a fundamental turnaround of an ailing public sector institution. Bogoshi also led the successful merger of two private sector companies. Bogoshi holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town.
