Kenya: Jumia redesigns website

Jumia, Kenya has launched its newly redesigned website. According to the company, the redesign was implemented in order to offer consumers an improved experience.

Parinaz Firozi, MD, Jumia Kenya stated that: “Our goal is to create a website that meets the needs of our customers and sellers by allowing every single brand to build its online shop on Jumia and provide a wide variety of products to our customers in a seamless, safe and convenient shopping experience. We have achieved that and more,”

According to Firozi: “To reflect the way people shop online, the new website also features and easy-to-browse catalog that reduces the user’s need to click around the site in order to uncover the content they’re searching for. On the vendor side, the new layout gives more visibility to brands and partners selling on Jumia.”

According to Firozi, the company is confident the new design is a step in the right direction with many more surprises in store as the company continues to improve its customer experience.
