Leading technology players including Performanta, Websense, Btitehouse, Cosign, K2, Complexus, Business Connexion and Trivector presented their solutions at CIO Roadmap on 24 June 2015 in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The rapid pace of change in business is forcing CIOs to ramp up their leadership, strategic thinking, and creativity capabilities. CIO Roadmap 2015 gathered together the most forward-thinking IT leaders from around the continent and explored best practices for addressing these challenges.

IT News Africa hosted the event in association with the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa, the CIO Forum South Africa and the Information Technology Association of South Africa.

The summit offered sessions focused on leadership, transformation and innovation. Indispensable panel discussions focused on topics such as:

– CIO or CMO: Who should lead digital transformation?
– Security Strategy and the Changing CIO Role.
– Becoming a Mobile Enterprise/ Recognising mobility as primarily a business problem.
– Leveraging Big Data for big business value/ Big Data-Rethinking ROI.
– Opportunities for driving innovation in today’s dynamic global markets.
