Ooredoo Qatar has announced that its Mobile Money service will give 20 free international minutes, with all international transfers to selected African countries, until 25 July 2015.
According to the company, the offer will be valid in: Cameroon, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria and Kenya. For Hala customers, the 20 international minutes will be credited to their Hala balance instantly after the transaction.
Shahry customers will have the credit added to their monthly allowance. According to Ooredoo Qatar, the free international credit is valid for seven days and bonus minutes can be used to make calls anywhere in the world.
Customers can register for Mobile Money with a valid Qatar ID at any Ooredoo shop, by dialling *140# or by downloading the Ooredoo Money app on their mobile and following the on-screen instructions.
Once registered, customers can send money to 200 countries for collection at any of 347,000 local MoneyGram agents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
