
At Citrix Synergy 2015, which is currently being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida, top-flight speakers are set to take the stage from 12-14 May 2015.
According to the event oragniser, Citrix Synergy 2015 has a new industry focus, highlighting how mobility is transforming the workplace in industries including healthcare, education, financial services, and government—enabling people to work better from anywhere.
According to Citrix, the following speakers will be headlining the event:
Mark Templeton President, CEO , Citrix
Mark Templeton is president and CEO of Citrix. Templeton leads the Citrix vision for a world where people, IT and businesses can experience work and life their way. He is responsible for the company’s market direction, product strategy and ensuring the best possible experience for Citrix customers. He guides the unique Citrix culture by emphasizing core values of conviction, humility, integrity and respect.
Templeton joined Citrix in 1995 as vice president of marketing, prior to the company’s initial public offering. He was appointed president in 1998 and chief executive officer in 2001. Under his leadership, Citrix has been transformed from a $15 million organisation with one product, one customer segment and one go-to-market path, to a global powerhouse with annual revenues of $2.9 billion and 100 million users worldwide.
Jesse Lipson VP & GM, Documents Cloud , Citrix
Jesse Lipson is responsible for the vision, market direction and product strategy behind the Citrix data platform. A self-taught software programmer, he launched and led multiple cloud and e-commerce businesses including Rapidata.net, novelProjects and ShareFile.
He joined Citrix in 2011 through the ShareFile acquisition. Jesse graduated from Duke University with a degree in philosophy. He serves on the board of directors of Yext and is a founding partner of HQ Raleigh.
Klaus Oestermann Senior VP & GM Delivery Networks , Citrix
Klaus Oestermann is senior vice president and general manager of the Delivery Networks business unit at Citrix. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s networking, cloud and communication service provider technologies, which are used by a wide variety of customers and partners from communications service providers and enterprises to the largest websites and cloud providers in the world.
Prior to this role, Oestermann was group vice president and general manager of the Networking, Cloud and Service Provider group at Citrix. Oestermann has been with Citrix for fifteen years and held various other positions within the company, including various consecutive group vice president roles in the company’s R&D organisation, and in his earlier career, sales leadership positions in both EMEA and the U.S., as well as responsibility for worldwide channel strategies and development.
He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the IT industry. Before joining Citrix, he was managing director for CMA Systems, Denmark. He also worked for IBM in a variety of roles. Oestermann holds a bachelor’s degree – HD Business Diploma Degree in Marketing Management from Copenhagen Business School, as well as an Academy Economist degree in Marketing and Service Management.
