With education being the key focus, Airtel Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) have partnered in order to host the second NIPR Lagos stakeholders’ conference. The goal is to put the focus back on telecommunications education in order to develop the infrastructure and basis, for continued growth in the sector.
With the telecommunications and the mobile sector booming in recent years in Nigeria, Airtel is hopeful that a continued presence, as well as information gathering meetings, is important to develop awareness even further.
The conference focused on “the critical role public relations and its practitioners play in protecting the rights of consumers,” a statement read.
