Telkom recently launched SmartInternet Unlimited. According to Telkom, the bundle is aimed at business users seeking unlimited mobile data. Telkom also revealed that SmartInternet Unlimited will offer a reliable uncapped data connection over the mobile network, and consistent speeds of up to 2Mbps.
According to Telkom, “Customers benefit from fixed monthly pricing, with no coverage restrictions. Additionally, when used with the Huawei B593 router, a small business can connect up to 32 devices simultaneously, from one connection. No installation is needed, and the ‘plug and play’ solution allows for immediate use.”
Megan Nicholas, Managing Executive of mobile solutions, a division of Telkom’s Business stated that: “In today’s fast-moving world, it is imperative that businesses are always connected and in touch. Our SmartInternet Unlimited package will help businesses to remain efficient and productive at all times.”
As with all uncapped packages, an acceptable usage policy will apply. This means that if a customer exceeds 100GB per month, their download speeds will be throttled.
Telkom will charge R1 699 per month for a 24-month contract (router included), and is exclusively available to business customers.
