Airtel Rwanda has launched Airtel Zone. According to Airtel Rwanda, Zone provides customers with low and transparent rates for on-net voice calls.
According to Airtel, the rate of each call will vary from RWF 1 per minute to RWF 31 per minute – depending on the time of day and the number of customers calling on the network. The company stated that the rates are configured to change on an hourly basis, which is based on the number of customers calling at the same time from the same location.
Customers who have subscribed to Airtel Zone will be able to verify the rate available to them before they place a phone call. Airtel Zone is available by dialing star 135 hash.
