UAE telco, Etisalat has launched a 6-month and 12-month smartphone insurance plan. The insurance plan offers protection against theft as well as accidental damage.
The plans, priced at AED120 ($32) for 6-months cover or AED250 for 12-months, give the subscriber the protection they need against accidental damage that may occur, including: cracked screen, theft, liquid damage, and other defects that may not be carried by the phone’s original warranty.
Each plan has been launched in partnership with AXA Insurance. Insurance plans are are available to all customers who purchase a new smartphone from Etisalat’s business centres or their outlets in the UAE.
