The Swedish manufacturer of carrying cases for portable electronics releases a monthly Top 10-list, and is based on number of pieces custom made mobile- and smartphone cases ordered from Krusell during January 2014. The list of Krusell is unique due to the fact that it reflects the sales of phones in six continents and in more than 70 countries around the globe.

“That Sony’s Z1 Compact has been well received by the market is probably not a surprise, if you look at the specs of the device,” says Ulf Sandberg Managing Director at Krusell. “It’s also great to see the new phablet from Nokia, the Nokia Lumia 1320 now entering stores across the globe. Lumia 1320 is a device with huge potential as the quality of the product is great value for money. Last month I predicted that we would see Nokia Lumia 1520 climbing into the chart, instead we got 1320, which might be logical if you look at the price point of the latest device. The backside of that fact might be I have to confess that I was wrong in my prediction,” he ends.

Krusells top ten nest-selling list for January:

1. Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

2. Sony Xperia Z1

3. Apple iPhone 5

4. Nokia Lumia 1320

5. Acer Liquid E2

6. LG G2

7. Samsung I9500 Galaxy S4

8. Samsung Galaxy S4 Active

9. Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini

10. HTC ONE
