Device manufacturer ASUS debuted two all new additions to the popular Fonepad line; the Fonepad 7 LTE (ME372CL) and the Fonepad 7 (ME175CG) at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
ASUS is also showcasing the complete lineup of its latest mobile products, including the ZenFone series and PadFone mini.
The newest addition to the ASUS mobile lineup on display at Mobile World Congress is Fonepad 7 LTE (ME372CL), a 7-inch phablet with built-in LTE connectivity and phone functionality for consumers who want one device to connect and entertain them. With fast data speeds, Fonepad 7 LTE delivers streaming video and music and makes web browsing responsive.
Fonepad 7 (ME175CG) is a 7-inch phablet with built-in 3G connectivity and phone functionality. Fonepad 7 features an HD IPS display and a high-performance Intel Atom Z2520 1.2GHz processor.
ZenFone, the long-anticipated ASUS smartphone series, is available with screens ranging from 4 to 6 inches and in a variety of colors. All ZenFone models feature Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 screens for scratch resistance and durability.
PadFone mini is a uniquely versatile device that combines the portability of a smartphone with the screen size of a tablet. Comprised of a 4-inch smartphone that docks seamlessly in a palm-sized 7-inch tablet, PadFone mini lets users expand their view and charge their phone at the same time.
“South African consumers should expect to see the new line-up later in the year,” commented Jeff Kuo, Country Manager of ASUS South Africa. “The Fonepad was huge success in South Africa, and we want to continue to provide consumers with amazing experiences through our mobile innovations.”
