The Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) has achieved a milestone for investor relations between SADC and the Far East after it successfully introduced its website in China.

The Tanzania Daily News has reported that TIC, which serves to promote and facilitate investment, became among the first investment promotion agencies from the SADC region to make available extensive information to the Chinese market.

Local and foreign investors are expected to use the site to engage with authorities, with the added benefit of more streamlined administrative processes, including company registration and taxation.

The website was introduced at the Tanzania-China Business Forum held at in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. The Tanzanian delegation included Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda.

Prime Minister Pinda is quoted by Tanzania Daily News as saying, “TIC’s website provides a one-stop platform for domestic and foreign investors to access information relevant to making investments in Tanzania.
