Multichoice has announced a partnership with eTranzact Ghana to digitise the payment process and make the collection easier.
The partnership will allow eTranzact Ghana to roll out a subscription collection platform aimed specifically at subscribers of Digital Satellite Television (DSTv) bills.
“The eTranzact electronic platform is expected to provide a channel of business communication including mobile phone, internet, point of sale terminals, automated teller machines and cash payment at banks to facilitate easy payment on transactions for customers,” Multichoice said of its new agreement with eTranzact Ghana.
The move has been welcomed by experts. They believe Ghana is positioning itself as a leader in the mobile money sector by pursuing new deals and partnerships to reduce costs, making it easier to do business and providing all citizens with access to online bill payment structures.
