With more and more people using smartphones for music, Jabra has responded to the local need for performance speakers and corded and wireless stereo headphones that unleash the quality of the music and elevate the listening and call experience to a new dimension of sound performance.

“As a business that understands the headset and speakerphone market intrinsically, we are always opting for new markets to expand into and after some careful market research, we realised that South Africa cannot be ignored – given its mobile revolution and consumer adoption of gadgets and technology,” says Ahmed Elkalliny, Middle East & Africa Area Sales Director at Jabra.

As part of the local offering Jabra have brought to market a number of quality, durable and aesthetically appealing headsets and speaker solutions including; the Jabra REVO WIRELESS, Jabra REVO corded and Jabra VOX in-ear earphones, as well as the Jabra SOLEMATE portable speaker.

To this end, Jabra’s headphones are designed to be ‘used and abused’ and this new range is no exception. Both the Jabra REVO WIRELESS and Jabra REVO headphones are solidly constructed using an aluminum frame, steel hinges and a shatter-proof headband for extreme flexibility. The small but tough Jabra VOX is built from premium materials, comes with tangle-free, reinforced cables and is thoroughly tested for ultimate durability and performance.

“Headphones are subjected to a lot of wear and tear so consumers are demanding that they are designed to withstand the rigours of regular use,” notes Elkalliny. “Jabra’s line of stereo products has been tested to the extreme, undergoing drop tests, bend tests, fold tests, cable tests, dirt tests and more. These headphones are built to last, without sacrificing style or sound quality.”

The Jabra music stereo range will be available at Musica as well as independent leading retailers, as per the below approximate recommended pricing:

• Jabra REVO WIRELESS RRP – R4 000.00

• Jabra REVO (Grey or White) – R3 000.00

• Jabra VOX – R1 400.00

• Jabra SOLEMATE (black or white) RRP – R1 999.00
