Africa’s premier ICT news publication ITNewsAfrica, in conjunction with SAS Institute, will host the next Innovation Dinner on 26 June in Lagos, Nigeria. The theme for this exclusive event is The Changing Role of the African CIO.

The Innovation Dinner Series is a ‘by invitation only’ event that takes place every two months in South Africa and twice a year in Nigeria.
It attracts ICT leaders and business decision makers from across the continent to discuss issues that impact Africa’s burgeoning ICT industry.
Delegates will enjoy a luxurious three-course meal at a top-class venue – in this case The Four Points by Sheraton – and participate in scintillating conversation around the theme; one that has emerged as a hot talking point within the business environment at large.
A number of keynote speakers will take to the podium during the evening and presentations are already scheduled for: Ms Funke Opeke, Founder and CEO of Main One Cable Company; Tani Fafunwa, Managing Director, Resourcery; Edward Sungura, Regional Director sub-Saharan Africa, SAS Institute; and Carel Badenhorst, Head Technology Practice, SAS, Middle East & Africa, Turkey & Pakistan.
The Innovation Dinner has an established following within the continent’s rapidly developing ICT sector (click here to view photos from past dinners).
Comments from attendees of past Dinners attest to the event’s relevance and stature.
“Thank you very much for the invite, I received the value that I wanted,” said Izak Loubser, Assistant Director: Tektique, Department of Science and Technology.
“Excellent speakers that speak from experience,” commented Willem Hart, CIO at Xtend BI.
The Innovation Dinner is by invitation only and space is limited. IT professionals interested in attending are urged to register their interest as soon as possible.
