South African born technology innovator, scientist and space exploration enthusiast Elon Musk has been listed on Time magazine’s Time 100 issue featuring the 100 Most Influential People in the World.

The 41-year-old is the founder and CEO of Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) and is also credited with the founding of PayPal and Tesla Motors.
The SpaceX Dragon capsule has attracted global media attention, primarily focusing on its scheduled commercial launches and linking with the International Space Station to supply cargo.
In March 2013, having overcome a technical glitch, it was reported that the Dragon capsule successfully reached the International Space Station.
The company has made it into the history books as the first private venture to supply the station on behalf of NASA.
Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World list is an annual offering that profiles people from a range of quarters, including artists, leaders, pioneers and icons.
Musk features amongst within the Titans category and shares the spotlight with recording artist and rapper Jay-Z and 22-year-old Norwegian chess superstar Magnus Carlsen.
