MTN has announced the launch of the much-anticipated Apple iPad with Retina Display, which has been available on the MTN network stores as of 1 February 2012. The iPad with Retina Display will soon be joined on the MTN network by the iPad Mini, which is due to be released later this month.

The iPad with Retina Display features new and upgraded components such as the Apple A6X chip, and the Lightning connector. It comes standard with iOS 6.0 operating system, which provides a platform for audio-visual media, including electronic books, periodicals, films, music, computer games, presentations and web content.
The iPad Mini boasts the same features as the standard iPad 4, including FaceTime and iSight cameras, thousands of apps, as well as a 10-hour battery life and a 7.9 inches screen. With advanced Wi-Fi that’s up to twice as fast as any previous-generation iPad and access to fast mobile data networks around the world, iPad Mini downloads content, streams video and browses the web at amazing speeds.
