The event is sponsored by several industry heavyweights, including the Ericsson, HP, IDC and MTN, and is scheduled for 26 September in Johannesburg.

IT News Africa publisher and Executive Editor, Abby Wakama, says the theme and success of the Innovation Dinner series has attracted the attention of key role players within the industry.

“Companies understand that the ability to thrive within a knowledge economy is dependent on how quickly businesses adapt to changing market conditions,” he explains.

“Our Innovation Dinner series always serves up worthwhile insight, relevant information and key points for consideration. We are excited to have a high calibre of sponsors backing the next event in our Series,” Wakama continues.

The sponsorship line-up includes established mobile operators and leading industry stalwarts who will engage with delegates and key presenters to highlight the opportunities that exist within a broadband-driven economy.

Previous attendees have expressed their satisfaction with the Innovation Dinner Series.

“It is a brilliant and great networking opportunity. I keep attending because you get appraised on new market trends and a plus is an opportunity to socialise and catch up with colleagues in the industry.”- Manoj Bhoola, MD, Avanade South Africa.

“I keep attending the dinners because I have a passion for new innovations, my need to network and, of course, the food is great.” – Emson Moyo, CTO, GIJIMA
