Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced its appointment of ICT Worx (International Consulting & Training Worx) as South Africa’s first Huawei Authorized Learning Partner(HALP).
The appointment by ICT Worx not only solidifies Huawei’s ICT training and certification program in the South African market but also realises Huawei’s vision of leading ICT technical certification and nurturing ICT talent for the future.
ICT Worx, which has vast experience in local certification training, now undertakes a variety of Huawei certification training, which focuses on the training and certification development of channel partners, students and social students. It will provide strong support to channel platforms, help channel and service partners to provide technical training and certification, allowing them to produce and reserve technical talents.
The training forms part of the Huawei Enterprise Training and Certification Program which covers 11 technical fields and 13 technical directions in the ICT industry. It is the only certification program of its kind in the industry that covers all ICT technical fields.
Mr. Xiao Han, President of Huawei Enterprise Global Technical Service said: “This partnership is an important milestone in the establishment of training and certification standards for the entire industry to facilitate its growth in the future. We recognise that industry standards, knowledge, and skills are all undergoing constant changes in the ICT convergence era and talented professionals are needed in unprecedented numbers, more urgently than before.
