Nigerian Federal Ministry of Communications and Technology has announced on Friday plans to establish six Information and Communication Technology Centres (ICT) throughout Nigeria.
Ojo Oyetunde, House of Representatives Communications Chairman, said he was impressed with Akwa Ibom State infrastructure.
“He particularly expressed his delight with the E-Library built by Governor Akpabio’s administration and said he and his committee members and the Nigeria Communications Commission would recommend to the Honorable Minister of Communications that one ICT centre be located in Akwa Ibom State,” Nigeria’s Vanguard writes.
