Many users have been complaining about the fact that Nintendo’s 3DS only has one thumbstick, but the company unveiled that 3DS Circle Pad Pro attachment, which adds an extra thumbstick to the device, will be released on 27 January.
The attachment will also be released the same time as Resident Evil: Revelations as a part of a bundle, since Revelations is the first title that supports the second thumbstick.
“It feels like they’ve done their very best to solve an essentially intractable problem. It’s an extremely competent hatchet job, but a hatchet job nonetheless,” commented Eurogamer’s Fred Dutton.
According to Eurogamer, it “envelopes the handheld, making the 3DS wider and deeper, and requires an AAA battery to operate.”
