In response to South Africa’s need for affordable broadband Internet, mobile network operator 8·ta has announced that it is extending its 10 GB Data Offering (24 month contract) until 30 June 2012.
First launched in June this year, the data bundle costs R199 per month with the option of an additional 10GB Midnight Surfer Add-on bundle at an additional cost of R100 per month for use between 12am and 5am.
This promotion, which won 8.ta the Data Maverick for 2011 Award at the annual MyBroadband conference, has been very well received and demand for this promotion remains high.
“8·ta also provides users with a safety net to prevent bill shock, check balances, top up their bundle or opt to use out of bundle rates,” says Amith Maharaj, Managing Executive of Telkom Mobile.
