A patch for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3: Drake Deception has been released, following numerous complaints from fans that the aiming system was inaccurate and clunky.
The new 1.02 update adds “Alternate Aim Settings” under camera settings in the Options menu, but these setting will only be active during the single player campaign. For the multiplayer, fans will have to revert back to the original settings.
After complaints about the controls and the aiming, the developer invited a number of gamers to their studio to test the new settings and tweak them if need be. “”Thank you for playing and your patience while we built and released this patch,” Naughty Dog wrote on their blog.
“A lot of your feedback went into making this patch happen so keep letting us know what you think of the game. Continue to let us know in the forums of any technical issues you might stumble across. Hope you’re enjoying Uncharted 3!” they added.
The patch also added a Movie cutscene viewer and fixed the missing Motion Blur effects in single player. For multiplayer, medal streaks won’t reset if the host migrates to another user, allow grenade throw while scoped and fixed several cinema crashes, among others.
