LG Electronics has unveiled a new home entertainment system, which was specifically designed for the South African market. The ARX9000 AV Receiver system was also launched alongside a sponsorship of a television programme called SoweTOP10 on Soweto TV, channel 150 on DSTV.
“The ARX9000 AV Receiver system resonates with performances and addresses the needs local consumers seek in a home theatre purchase,” says JM Lee, CEO of LG Electronics South Africa. “It is ideally suited for the South African public and built according to its specific requirements.”
The system features glossy black design with 1580 Watt, 7.2 channel multi-directional surround sound, a horn compression tweeter and 3 HDMI connections. The Dual Duct system also helps to release inside air more efficiently, giving the bass a bit of a boost.
“Concurrently with the launch of the system, LG is proud to announce its sponsorship of the SoweTOP10 music show on Soweto TV. The 48 minute show will provide viewers with music video chart show, mixing both local and international music videos,” LG said in a statement.
“We believe the partnership with SoweTOP10 fits perfectly with LG’s brand as a consumer Electronics Company focussed on home entertainment,” added Lee.
