Ravi Chhatpar is the Strategy Director at frog Shanghai. Originally at frog New York for a few years, he came to Shanghai almost five years ago to start frog’s Asian operations.
His primary focus is innovation strategy – bringing strategic thinking to multinational clients who are looking for disruptive opportunities for growth and transformation. As a leader of frog‘s innovation strategy discipline, much of his work emphasizes enriching frog’s intellectual capital and innovation methodologies.
He speaks regularly on topics related to innovation, growth, and design management, teaches at business schools and universities, and has authored publications for the Harvard Business Review and the Design Management Institute.
Before frog, Ravi split his career between Tokyo and New York, working in e-business, as a management consultant, and in private equity.
Ravi has an AB in Biology and Economics from Harvard University.
Fritz Milosevic is an Investment Banker Telecommunications, Media and Technology in Nedbank Capital. Fritz holds more than 10 years’ experience in ICT projects & markets across 4 continents and various countries. Recently Fritz started to analyse the potential and impact of clean-tech and carbon credit-mechanisms for the TMT industry, developing financial solutions that can support sustainable growth for “greener” TMT companies.
Graham Vorster (event chair) joined HP in February 2011 as HP Networking Country Manager for South Africa. His role entails managing the overall HP Networking business across the board.
Graham’s ICT career spans over 20 years and he is a technology futurist with a particular passion for driving innovative technology strategies. Previously, Graham was the Chief Executive Officer of Alcatel-Lucent SA LTD.
Kanagaratnam Lambotharan was appointed Chief Technology Officer MTN South Africa in December 2010. Before his appointment he held several senior positions within the group including CTO of MTN Irancell and Head of Network Planning at MTN Uganda where he was responsible for rolling out a WIMAX network to 22 cities and the Commercial Launch of MTN’s GPRS/EDGE network.
Jason Schäffler holds a M. Sc. AppSc in Energy and Development from the University of Cape Town and an honours degree in Physics at Wits university. In 2003 he started Nano Energy, a consulting firm specialising in renewable energy information systems. He has driven the establishment of the South African voluntary REC market and certificate issuing body RECSA. He currently serves as the technical coordinator for REEEP’s Southern African secretariat and is a longstanding member of Council of the Sustainable Energy Society of Southern Africa.
