What this means, is that FNB Connect customers who are registered for FNB Connect Surf can now surf video website Youtube for free between 7pm and 11pm until August 2012. As an added bonus, registration is free and newly registered users also get 1 (one) free GB of ADSL data to browse other sites.

“This has been very popular amongst our clients and we achieved a 70% growth rate base on our last promotion. We would like to offer this to our ADSL customers to thank them for their continued patronage as well as attract a new base of customers who want to enjoy this data indulgence,” said Farren Roper, Head of Products and Markets at FNB Connect.

“The increased emphasis on digital is deliberate and in line with our overall approach.  We have taken a customer centric view, championing the cause for low cost internet access and an increased digital presence,” he added.

FNB has been making waves in the digital world in the last couple of month, with also being the first Africa bank to offer a banking app for the iPhone, Blackberry and Android handsets.

“With the free YouTube promotion, FNB Connect now offers their ADSL clients free data in order to access popular social networking sites, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube respectively,” FNB said in a statement.
