Ubisoft’s highly-anticipated Assassin’s creed: Revelations will soon get an exclusive multiplayer beta for the PlayStation Network.

But before players can see what to expect in the next instalment of the franchise, they have to be a PlayStation Plus or Uplay subscriber.

“The multiplayer beta offers access to nine characters: the Sentinel, the Vanguard, the Guardian, the Vizier, the Thespian, the Deacon, the Bombardier, the Trickster and the Champion,” Eurogamer wrote.

There will also be three maps available for players to roam in – Knight’s Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople – as well as four playable modes; Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault.

The multiplayer beta is scheduled to go live on 3 September and will be available until 11 September. Ubisoft also stressed that the beta offers only a sample of the final multiplayer content.
