Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has endorsed the new LG Cinema 3D television, launched recently in the Nigeria. Soyinka praised LG Electronics for the new innovation during the product launch event.
Soyinka says it is a worthy venture that would revamp the cinema culture in Nigeria in the most comfortable, enjoyable and social way.
Soyinka says the uniqueness of the product makes it a celebration of creativity, innovation and a high level of commitment to making only the best and most suitable home appliances available to consumers.
“The fusion of technology and cinema is a platform to showcase human ingenuity and how entertainment can be used to enhance the quality of our life styles through a thorough process of providing contents that can motivate and stir people in taking positive actions to better the world,” says Soyinka.
Jaeyoung Lee, LG Electronics MD for West Africa, says the 3D TV, which relies on polarised glasses, eliminates feelings of dizziness or eye fatigue that may occur during viewing. Added to it is the new 2D to 3D ‘up-conversion’ tools, which guarantees comfortable view of contents, a common fault of previous 2D sets.
3D TV experience
The Cinema 3D technology provides a much-improved 3D experience which includes home dashboard and magic motion remote control that allows users to point directly at the application they want rather than pressing a litany of buttons, giving a mouse like experience.
Lee says with the innovative technology in the Cinema 3D TV, the problems associated with conventional 3D TVs have been resolved and has ushered in a new world of complete entertainment and relaxation without complaints from consumers.
