Mass Effect film breaks its silence

The Mass Effect film is sure to be a hit

Legendary Films is expected to dish out more details about the film adaptation of the highly-successful game Mass Effect at the San Diego Comic-Con later this month.

The rumours of the film died down about a year ago, with developer BioWare and Legendary Films staying mum on any progress.

But BioWare’s Casey Hudson (who serves as an executive producer on the movie) and the film’s screenwriter Mark Protosevich, has been scheduled to discuss the film’s progress at the convention.

“The panel promises “an early look” at some of the films the company has in development, but given what is known about the Mass Effect project, it is unlikely that any footage is ready to be shown.”

“Legendary acquired the film rights to Mass Effect over a year ago, and has remained quiet about the project since,” wrote Gamasutra.
