Enterprise telecoms giant Aastra has won the prestigious HP AllianceONE Partner of the Year Award for the best technology partner in the networking category.
The award acknowledges Aastra’s IP telephony and unified communications (UC) applications and their full integration with HP’s network infrastructure.
The integration of Aastra technology into the HP network has enabled businesses to benefit from a secure, reliable open-standards-based foundation for Aastra’s Voice over IP (VoIP) and UC products.
Yves Laliberte, Aastra Executive Vice President says Aastra was one of the founding members of the HP Networking specialisation within the HP AllianceONE programme.
“Since joining, our relationship has gone from strength to strength, with joint wins and satisfied customers across the globe. One of the reasons for our success is that Aastra and HP share the same values, including the need for open standards and being able to offer a competitive TCO, says Laliberte.
“We are delighted that HP has recognised the value of our relationship by naming Aastra as technology partner of the year in the networking category,” says Laliberte.
Duncan Campbell, vice president of Converged Infrastructure at HP says that to manage the changing demands of customers, organisations had to accelerate “time to market” and “time to business” value.
“HP, with partners like Aastra, helps break down rigid IT silos with infrastructure specifically engineered to drive out cost and provide the foundation for agile service delivery,” he says.
Members of the HP AllianceONE Networking Specialisation go through a rigorous process that includes technology certification to ensure inter-operability, simplified deployment and optimised performance. As a result, customers can be assured of service by a trained, competent and certified channel, as well as certified products.
