Universum has recognised Lenovo as one of the world’s most attractive employers in its annual list of the Top 50 IT companies to work for in the U.S. and in business in China. The rankings from Universum, an employer branding company, are based on survey results from students at top academic institutions around the world.
“This survey illustrates that Lenovo continues to gain recognition as a great place to work, not only for its strong business performance, which continues to afford strong career opportunities for talented people, but equally because of our unique culture and focus on developing the world’s top talent,” said Rory Read, president and chief operating officer, Lenovo.
Universum bases its global talent attraction index upon the number of nominations by career seekers in 12 of the world’s largest economies for companies for which they would most like to work.
The survey indicates the companies that are top-of-mind employers and that may have a competitive advantage in attracting new talent. Universum bases its global talent attraction index upon feedback from approximately 130,000 business and/or engineering career seekers worldwide.
