Frog and Aricent Mobile unit integrate

Must Read

Aricent Group’s former Mobile Devices and Software Solutions unit will be operating under the Frog brand with effect from today. The unit, which comprises of 1,100 strategists, software architects, developers, and quality assurance engineers in India, South Africa, and the Ukraine were combined with Frog into one strategic business unit last October but continued to operate under the Aricent brand during the transition.

The integrated structure was set up to enable frog’s creative and consulting teams to work hand-in-hand with software delivery teams on product and service innovations across multiple industries including telecommunications, consumer electronics, energy, retail, finance and healthcare. In addition to this Integrated Delivery offering, the engineering teams will continue to provide a wide range of product lifecycle services (architecture, design, development, and testing) for its customers.

The Aricent teams will now operate with Frog email IDs and business cards. The brand change does not affect any contracts or ongoing programs with clients.

Doreen Lorenzo, president of Frog, said: “Our experience has shown that a new kind of collaboration model is needed in order to create and commercialize products that deliver the world-class design and user experience that consumers today have come to expect. With the addition of significant software engineering talent we are strengthening our ability to help our clients consistently deliver this kind of innovation.” She further said: “Our geographic expansion is exciting. We’re increasingly seeing powerful innovations coming from all parts of the world, and our clients want us to be at the front lines of where this is happening. We’ve been working with clients in India, China, South Africa, and other countries for many years now, and having local staff and presence in these markets will further strengthen our commitment to driving innovation at a global level.”

Indranil Mukherjee, who has been appointed as General Manager, India, will oversee all of Frog’s business operations in India. Elsje de Wit will continue to manage the Frog team in South Africa and Alexander Ousatch will lead the team in the Ukraine.

“I am confident that by leveraging our combined strategy, design, and engineering expertise, we are uniquely positioned to build a whole new category of innovation services company,” said Sudip Nandy, CEO of the Aricent Group. “Based on recent large-scale programs with Fortune 500 companies and many discussions with industry leaders, we know our clients are hungry for someone who can partner with them to bring innovative products and services from ideation through to market success.”
