Alcatel-Lucent has announced that Datanet Infrastructure Group, a leading South African telecommunications provider and systems integrator, has been selected as a Strategic Business Partner in South Africa. Datanet Infrastructure Group will now be a distributor of Alcatel-Lucent’s enterprise communications solutions to small and medium sized businesses in the South African market.
This agreement between Alcatel-Lucent and Datanet Infrastructure Group is intended to expand opportunities for both companies in South Africa and enable them to better meet the communications needs of the fast-growing South African enterprise market. There are an estimated two million small, medium and micro-enterprises in South Africa.
Alcatel-Lucent and Datanet Infrastructure Group have developed a combined strategy to differentiate themselves in the South African market.
Johannesburg-based DataNet Infrastructure Group (Pty), Ltd. was founded in 2003. The company provides structured cabling solutions and engages in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electronic enclosures for the international computers and tabulators market.
