PFU Imaging , a subsidiary of Fujitsu, today announced the appointment of three new distribution partners in sub-Saharan Africa, who will be supported by additional sales resources within the company, and the unveiling of an active reseller recruitment campaign.
Of the new partners, Astel will cover Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone and Liberia, DocuScan Africa will cover Nigeria and Ghana, and Imagetek will cover Kenya. This move will enhance the local sales, marketing and technical support efforts, and also help local resellers take advantage of the rapidly growing market for professional document scanners and document management solutions in sub-Saharan Africa.
In addition to these appointments, PFU Imaging Solutions is expanding the role of Adrian Cafferkey, who up to now was responsible for South Africa, to manage sales in the region. Speaking on his new role, Adrian Cafferkey said: “I am very excited about the opportunities that exist in this region, and I look forward to working closely with our distribution partners and recruiting new resellers to take our products to market. We recently introduced our range of scanners to resellers in Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria through a series of sales seminars, and have had an overwhelming response.
