Next week, Nairobi will play host to Capacity Africa 2010, Capacity magazine’s 4th annual pan-African wholesale telecommunications conference, taking place on 21 & 22 September 2010.

The conference, which has moved to the new location of Nairobi, will celebrate its change of location with an opening keynote address from the Kenyan Minister of Communications and a spotlight on the Kenyan telecoms market – featuring CEOs from the leading providers in the country.

Operators from African markets, along with international operators from Europe, the US, Asia and the Middle East will congregate in Nairobi to meet with one another and hear panel discussions, debates and presentations from over 60 visionary speakers.

With topics under debate including market regulation, the ongoing development of terrestrial and subsea capacity and the challenges of improving connectivity links to landlocked markets, the conference promises to instigate discussion about the future of the market and the substantial growth opportunities in the region.
In addition to the targeted conference sessions, the event will also provide a forum for its 300 attendees to meet and do business with one another. With a variety of networking functions taking place over both days and access to the exhibition room, bilateral meeting table and a VIP meeting area – Capacity Africa 2010 promises to be the must-attend event for the African wholesale market.
