Nigeria mobile operator, Zain has introduced free SMS (Short Message Service), lowered tariff for calls made to numbers within (On-Net calls) and out of the networks (off-Net calls), and loads of other benefits designed to give its customers more value.
Also, the telecom company has extended the value proposition of one of its offerings with addition of free weekend calls opportunity to existing five hours of free calls daily.
According to Zain, the move is a furtherance of its commitment to enable telecoms consumers communicate freely with friends, family members, and business partners and associates at pocket-friendly rates.
Under the company’s newly launched tariff plans, customers who connect to one of the packages, Koolmax, a value-rich offering designed for young and trendy individuals will have the opportunity to make free calls to a favourite friend on weekends in addition to enjoying free midnight calls daily between 12 mid-night and 4.30am.
Speaking on the new offering, Zain Nigeria’s Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility, Emeka Oparah said besides Koolmax package, Zain has also unveiled other tariff offerings tailored to suit the lifestyles, communications needs, aspirations and income levels of telecoms consumers in Nigeria.
To connect to the StepUp Platinum Bundle, customers are required to send *202*1#. Customers intending to connect to StepUp Diamond offer are expected to dial *203*1# while customers intending to connect to the StepUp Diamond Bundle are advised to dial *203*2#.
