“On the back of existing multi-year agreements with individual MTN companies, the signature of this new frame agreement – making our network optimization and audit services available to the entire MTN Group – is a strong endorsement of the solid relationship we have built with MTN over the years,” explained Eric Pradier, vice president and general manager, services, Motorola Networks.
MTN customers will benefit with an improved voice and data experience – something that will go a long way toward differentiating MTN in markets where increased network usage and performance expectations from customers are increasing on an on-going basis. Earlier this year and in preparation for the 2010 World Cup, MTN, an official sponsor, spearheaded a focused initiative to improve the network quality using Motorola’s optimization services.
“Over the past two years, Motorola’s expertise has proven to be an asset to a number of our operational companies – bringing the ability to cost-effectively enhance our network quality and performance,” explained Navindran Naidoo, general manager, MTN Group Technology.
“MTN believes Motorola’s ability to perform network optimization across a multi-vendor environment such as ours will allow us to provide an enhanced voice and data experience to our subscribers,” added Naidoo.
