
The Taiwanese company announced it would launch devices with 3G wireless connectivity and multimedia sharing features, according to Global Telecoms Business.
Acer also divulged plans to expand its footprint in China, targeting revenue of $1.5 billion in the country for 2010. The company confirmed it would increase advertising spend in China.
Laptops and notebooks represent 69% of Acer’s revenue according to the first quarter 2010 results. The company also sells other brands, including Packard Bell and Gateway.
