Customers who subscribe to a high-value package called “StepUP” offered by mobile operator Zain Nigeria, will receive additional benefits designed for their high-status lifestyle. These benefits include first class treatment at designated venues and other complementary services.
According to the Marketing Director of Zain Nigeria, Mostafa Younes, the enhanced package will offer various benefits to its subscribers, such as access to VIP lounge in selected airports and complimentary 100 SMS and 100MB Internet access in the first month of subscription.
Priority routing at Zain consumer contact centers, BlackBerry offers and automatic migration to Zain’s pace setting REWARDZ loyalty program are among the benefits included in the new package, priced at N1500 instead of N2000, as part of the enhancement strategy to provide higher vale for the customers.
“The package is the first plan in Nigeria for post paid and prepaid customers, that offers core lifestyle benefits and reduces the price per second as a customer uses their phone, regardless of the time and the network the call is made to”, added Younes.
StepUP subscribers will benefit from reduced call price per second, more than 20% saving on call cost if they make calls for more than three minutes daily in one month and over 50% saving in call cost if they talk for just 10 minutes every day in a month.
Zain customers can enjoy the StepUP’s benefits by recharging their phones with a monthly access fee of N1.500, whereas new customers will have to purchase a SIM card, recharge the same amount and dial the short code provided.
