All is set for the IT Leaders Africa Summit where stakeholders in the ICT sector will discuss prevailing issues in the industry.
The two-day event is scheduled for the 8th-9th of February 2010.
According to the organizers, the country’s Science and Technology Minister, Naledi Pandor, will officially open the event. Major players in the ICT sector around the continent have also confirmed their participation.
The IT Leaders Africa Summit is the premier gathering for CIOs and IT Heads across all industries in Africa. The summit has been designed for business executives – the CIO and CFO who want to understand how technology can transform their business.
“The strategic agenda includes all mediums of discussion in order to promote maximum take away from the event. Guest speakers will focus on what is hot in IT at the moment, reducing costs and stimulating innovative IT in Africa”, the organizers said.
Among other key topics on the agenda, the speakers will debate Infrastructural Challenges in Africa, Technical Challenges ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and how IT Governance affects Business.
