Nairobi (IT News Africa) — RWANDAN President Paul Kagame this week restructured the Ministry of Science, Technology and Information and Communications Technology.
This has resulted in some functions of the Ministry going to the Ministry of Education while other functions remain in his office.
“The attributions for science, technology and research have been transferred to the Ministry of Education [while] the attributions for Information, Science and Technology (ICT) shall remain with the Minister in the Office of the President in Charge of ICT,” Premier Bernard Makuza said in a statement.
