The rate of adoption of software within the field of HR and payroll administration, and the pace at which these solutions are being applied in the workplace, reflects the growing dependency businesses have on higher levels of sophistication and functionality housed in next generation technology.
This is the viewpoint of Teryl Schroenn, CEO at Accsys, a national provider of HR and payroll management solutions, and long term partner to Sybase South Africa (Pty) Ltd., the exclusive African representative of Sybase Inc, the largest enterprise software and services company exclusively focused on managing and mobilizing information
The two companies have established a solid industry-leading partnership that is based on Accsys’ role as a highly skilled, independent software vendor making them a valuable member of the Sybase Channel Network.
Both companies are invested in and committed to developing skills capacity in their respective areas of focus through bursary and/or skills development initiatives.
In addition to its support of Sybase’s ASA and SQL Anywhere 8 technologies for the past four years, Accsys’ solutions (incorporating payroll, HR management, time & attendance, access control, biometrics and Employee Self Service) are aligned to- and provide the extended benefit of Sybase technology to its users.
“During the second half of the year we visited the Sybase User Training and Solutions Conference in Las Vegas. It was a very impressive event and, if all goes according to schedule, our objective is for the release of our next version of Peopleware – expected in the first quarter of next year – to support SQL Anywhere Eleven, an advanced version of the software,” explains Schroenn.
“There is a symbiotic relationship between the two companies in the support and integration of leading technologies into the market, meeting the escalating payroll and human resource requirements of any sized organisation competing in today’s marketplace,” adds Schroenn.
“Since the Accsys suite of products is powered exclusively by Sybase’s ASA technology, Accsys represents an extension of our ASA sales force. This technology currently holds a seventy three percent share of the global market and through strategic alliances with leading software vendors like Accsys, that number is set to soar,” says Shiona Blundell, channel manager at Sybase SA.
“Additionally Accsys and Sybase SA have both invested substantially in expanding their respective footprints further into Africa. This partnership enables our African resources to field opportunities for new business collaboratively which further cements the partnership and adds value to the development of technology capacity in those regions. Accsys is a perfect example of the kind of partner we aim to attract,” she adds.
Maybe they first should make it so you could easily navigate through their site. Everything seems so crowded. I stopped using it because of that.
