Nigeria: HR Technology Confab Holds

The HR (Human Resource) Technology Conference 2007, which was postponed in the wake of the recent labour-led strike, will now take place today at the Lagos Civic Centre.
The event which will be its maiden edition and is designed to be a fusion of human resources best practices and technology, sponsored by Allied Soft Limited with the support of Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Intel Corporation.

Speaking on behalf of the conference organizers, Mrs. Uloma Umeano, Principal Consultant, Customer Centricity Ltd confirmed that about 200 HR Professionals and Information Technology experts had registered to participate in the event prior to the strike and with the new date in July 2007, more and more professionals have indicated interest to participate.
