Huawei releases transport “bandwidth cloud” solution in South Africa
Huawei Technologies, leader in next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, has brought its transport “bandwidth cloud” solution on South African ground, allowing local telecom operators to benefit from faster internet access, video services and high definition television.
“Bandwidth cloud” is an innovative optical networking solution with integrated huge-capacity transmission (3.2 T), transforming the Internet experience by up to four times than current speed to meet increasing bandwidth requirements, greater flexibility and real-time services including high definition video streaming and conferencing, mobile gaming, high speed file transfer.

Huawei’s bandwidth cloud includes a VC-x (Virtual Container), ODUk (Optical Data Unit), future-oriented packet services and cross-connection and is capable of 40G and 100G transmissions.
