Alcatel-Lucent implements mobile billing platforms for Maroc Telecom

Alcatel-Lucent, worldwide provider of voice, data and video communication services, has announced its involvement in designing mobile biling platforms for Maroc Telecom, the leading global fixed, mobile and internet telecommunication operator in Kingdom of Marocco.

“With our billing and customer care partner LHS, we are providing a solution that enables Maroc Telecom to propose more personalized billing and support services to its customers while improving revenue collection and leakage prevention. This deal also reinforces the well established relationship between Alcatel-Lucent and Maroc Telecom”, said Abdel Mounim Ghetreff, Head of Alcatel-Lucent’s business in Morocco.

By choosing Alcatel-Lucent, Maroc Telecom will benefit from combined customer care, rating, billing and network integration services. This will enable the telecom operator to add more value and quality services to its mobile customers.

For Jalil Larhrib, IT Director of Maroc Telecom, Alcatel-Lucent’s experience in Business Support Systems (BSS) was necessary to boost the operator’s services and networking capabilities to new innovative dimensions.
