Tunisia, SA partners in computer technology for 2010 World Cup
THE Tunisian National Computer Security Agency (ANSI) and South Africa’s COMSEC have teamed up to set up a computer centre ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
According to African Manager, a communication company, the contract, valued at 80 000 Euros, was signed recently between the two companies. This followed a visit to Tunisia by COMSEC executives.
African Manager said the deal involves the purchase of technical solutions, the setting up of monitoring work procedures as well as the establishment of a Computer Emergency Response Team ahead of the tournament to be hosted by South Africa.
ANSI is a United Nations Conference on Trade and Development certified centre of excellence aimed at boosting computer security.—ITNewsAfrica.
